In front of a large crowd of more than a hundred people, auctioneer Leigh Hallamore did his stuff and extolled the virtues of this fine property. He covered everything. He worked the crowd hard; they clapped when he commanded; they waved when he commanded. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment on this rather dismal day. But try as he might, Leigh could not command any bidders to come out and clap or wave even though his two vendor bids sounded good. With no response at all forthcoming from the crowd this fine, well located property was passed in on a vendor bid of $2,400,000. What a shame!
