30A Wave Street, ELWOOD
PASSED IN - $1,650,000
Located in one of my favourite parts of Elwood, Wave Street has a lot to offer buyers who are looking for inner city living without the traffic and building density. I can recall that the adjoining home was bought for around $1,700,000 with three bidders approximately six months ago. Therefore the quote of $1,650,000 plus made sense – that is assuming the market today is the same as it was six months ago. Clearly it is not, as there was only 10 people in attendance and there was, unfortunately, little atmosphere. Auctioneer Torsten Kasper was professional throughout and called for bids at the end of his preamble. None were forthcoming and the property was passed in on a vendor bid of $1,650,000.
