The last auction of the day for me and what a pleasure to find out that Jellis Craig are celebrating twenty years in the business. I can assure you that auctioneer Alastair Craig has aged perfectly like a nice red wine and is still as vibrant as ever. A nice sized crowd of 50 were here at this auction, however none seemed interested as no bids were made. Two vendor bids and a half time break and nothing transpired, except for a last minute bid to gain first rights for negotiations. With that, Mr Craig promptly passed the property in to the lone bidder. Sold late Saturday night for $1,725,000 - good result for campaign agent Peter Vigano.
