4 Berkeley Court, KEW
PASSED IN - $2,425,000
The loud chatter of the crowd of around 55, which included many neighbours, filled the street. In his preamble auctioneer Hamish Tostevin spoke eagerly of the property, describing it as a “magnificent family home” offering an “outstanding family package.” When Mr Tostevin looked for an opening bid, one was promptly offered from a member of the crowd for $2,300,000 and a vendor bid of $2,400,000 followed shortly after. Mr Tostevin had an energetic and expressive manner and worked hard to entice bidding. A further bid of $2,425,000 was made by the original bidder. However with no additional bidding on the day the property was passed in.
According to the agent, the property sold later that evening between $2,600,000 and $2,750,000.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
