Auctioneer John Bongiorno gave a concise preamble then opened the auction swiftly with a vendor bid of $2,000,000, expecting to see a sea of hands. With none forthcoming a further vendor bid was announced at $2,050,000, which in the end was advanced by a bidder from the crowd. Not much action after this however, and the property passed in for $2,060,000.
