The winter sun brought out a good crowd to the auction of this Bayside home. In his opening speil, auctioneer Bill Jowett's quoted the home's worth at $2,200,000 and described this as good value relative to comparative properties currently for sale. A genuine bid of $1,750,000 was accepted but was followed by vender bid of $1,900,000. It seemed the crowd did not concur with the quote as no further bids were forthcoming resulting in the property being was passed in.
