There was chill in the air and auctioneer Hamish Tostevin was rugged up for this auction, as were the crowd of around 40. After an upbeat introduction, a crowd bid of $1,700,000 was called out but this was counted by a vendor bid of $1,950,000. Not too much happened after this, and the property passed in at that figure. Interestingly Hamish auctioned this property just over a year ago, and it passed in for $2,020,000, with 2 bidders (selling a few months later). Will be interesting to see what transpires from here - yes this house needs some work but the position and block size is quite good.
