A big crowd was at 12 Murdoch Street Camberwell - the whole neighbourhood came to watch. Auctioneer Richard Earle started off proceedings with a vendor bid of $1,420,000 and with only one bidder slowly increased the price. This changed when a second bidder came through and then it was on, the two bidders went`tit for tat' until the price quickly was on $1,550,000 and the auctioneer said the property was on the market. The two bidders continued, with one bidder giving 5k increases and the other bidder 1k bids. The property sold under the hammer for $1,618,000. The Jellis Craig team controlled the day brilliantly. A great result for all.
