With the weather outside not ideal for an auction, auctioneer John Bongiorno decided to conduct proceedings inside the beautiful Toorak home. A crowd of around 30 watched and listened to Mr. Bongiorno as he gave a very complimentary description of the unique property. Kicking things off with a vendor bid, the crowd stood silently for several moments in the open family room. A couple in the crowd eventually broke the silence with their bid. With no further bids forthcoming, Mr. Bongiorno passed the property in to the only bidders. The crowd was understandably quiet, given that the auction was conducted inside the home.
