A massive crowd of more than 250 people spilled onto the street and into a nearby park - at one point disrupting traffic and frustrating a delivery man who held his hand on the horn impatiently, waiting for the crowd to disperse. But throughout all this, auctioneer Toby Parker kept his cool and steered the auction towards an impressive result for the vendor. Mr Parker started off proceedings with a vendor bid of $3,800,000 and it wasn't long before two bidders had entered the fray. The property was on the market at $4,300,000 and sold under the hammer for that price.
