Auctioneer Brett Philipp kicked off proceedings on a mild Saturday morning in Melbourne with a vendor bid of $1,350,000. The bidding, while slow to begin with, picked up towards the business end of the auction with two very keen parties bidding furiously to snap up the Surrey Hills property. With 40 plus bids offered by the four interested parties, the action finally ended with a bid of $1,500,000 and the property was sold to some very pleased individuals. A crowd of 65 or so were on hand to watch the proceedings.
