10 Horace Street, MALVERN

PASSED IN - $2,775,000
An indoor auction in order to preserve auctioneer John Bongiorno's illness-stricken throat set the scene for this late morning auction. It was no problem and only helped to emphasise the entertaining space available to whomever was to purchase the property. Following the legal spiel, Mr Bongiorno outlined the various drawing cards of the property, including its alluring move-in ready quality. Kicking things off with a vendor bid of $2,750,000, Mr Bongiorno requested advances of $25,000. The audience seemed timid in the relatively confined space and refused to raise their bidding arms. That was until the first and only bidder of the auction raised his arm and offered the additional $25,000. Even following a half-time break, no further movement from the crowd was made and the property was passed in at $2,775,000.
