12 First Avenue, KEW

12 First Avenue, KEW

PASSED IN - $1,600,000
You would be forgiven for thinking that the casually attired Nelson Alexander team were off duty today, but this was simply business as usual with a difference. The team would be donating their fees for 12 First Avenue to e.motion21, a not-for-profit organisation, hence the white polos and jeans to focus attention on the community work. The property is approximately 420 sqm and attached at the rear is a further 230 sqm that is part of the old outer circle and government owned. The government has agreed to sell the additional land for $230,000 (or $1000 sqm), arguably making it some of the cheapest Kew land going around - this is not necessarily easy for buyers to get their heads around though. Auctioneer Cameron Ingram gives it his best after opening with a vendor bid of $1,600,000 though with the crowd unmoved he has little choice other than to pass the property in on the vendor bid.
