65 Bridge Street, PORT MELBOURNE

65 Bridge Street, PORT MELBOURNE

PASSED IN - $1,810,000
A short history of the property proceeded the auction of this Port Melbourne home. Auctioneer Gerald Betts explained to the crowd of around 65 that the 1923 home had been in the same family for some 50 years - a family who was once in charge of the local milk-run. With umbrellas at the ready, the crowd listened attentively as Mr Betts offered an opening vendor bid of $1,800,000. Unfortunately only one bidder jumped into action, offering $1,810,000 - not enough to buy the property, but enough to ensure he could enter into negotiations with the vendor post auction.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
Not only do we report on the state of the Melbourne Real Estate market, we are also government licensed Buyer Advocates. We only work for buyers, so think of us as the opposite of selling agents.
