10 Ocean Street, HAMPTON
BOUGHT* RANGE - $2,344,755 - $2,579,475
A late starting auction, at which auctioneer Steve Tickell quipped: ``I knew it was going to start late. It's easy to get people in, but hard to get people out!'' After a brief history of the house and Hampton, bidding commenced with an opening bid of $2,150,000. The initial bidder dropped out, leaving the two remaining bidders to fight it out. They took the price to $2,380,000 at which point Mr Tickell went inside to refer to the vendors. After the half time break the bidding continued until it reached $2,390,000 - the price at which the property was passed in. Bought after for an undisclosed amount.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
