13-15 Evelyn Street, ST KILDA EAST

BOUGHT* - $1,440,000
On this cold, crisp and sunny morning a crowd of 50 gathered to watch this double-fronted period residence go under the hammer. Kaine Lanyon placed an opening vendor of $1,100,000 before two potential buyers emerged from the crowd. Bidding was fast until the property was announced on market at $1,380,000 (Actual reserve $1.2M). From here bidding slowed until it reached a final result of $1,440,000. I thought Mr Lanyon did a wonderful job at this auction and whilst it took a while to get started it was a strong result in the end.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
Not only do we report on the state of the Melbourne Real Estate market, we are also government licensed Buyer Advocates. We only work for buyers, so think of us as the opposite of selling agents.
