Andrew Macmillan surprised me on two fronts - one he sold this with 2 bidders -I honestly thought a pass-in was the go - but the bidders were strong; and secondly he went inside to check it was on the market when we were above the quote range which, with Benmac's public policy, I thought meant we were automatically on the market. Anyway no need to do a Derryn Hinch and yell out Shame Andrew Shame as Andrew said he was just paying the seller the courtesy and it was announced on the market and consequently sold to a very happy bidder(s). Strong result for Susan McGlashan and Benmac.
