20 Gellibrand Road, PORT MELBOURNE

BOUGHT* - $1,681,000
The growing crowd swelled to about 90 people just before Frank Callaghan began his auction preamble. A strong opening bid of $1,400,000 opened proceedings and bidding moved strongly between two people through to $1,600,000. The property was announced on the market at $1,620,000, at which point a third bidder entered the competition and bid in $1,000 rises until she secured the property for $1,681,000. A frustrated under bidder went home empty handed.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
Not only do we report on the state of the Melbourne Real Estate market, we are also government licensed Buyer Advocates. We only work for buyers, so think of us as the opposite of selling agents.
