The sun we had seen earlier in the day disappeared behind the clouds and the temperature seemed to drop just as James Paynter started proceedings. Perhaps it was a sign of things to come as not one bidder came forward and the property was passed in on a second vendor bid of $1,500,000. A very quiet vibe, average sized crowd and no bidders. Bought after auction for $1,700,000 as reported by Mr Paynter.
