Damian O'Sullivan, Kaine Lanyon and Simon Gowling did all they could to entice prospective buyers at this auction, but it was a battle to get anyone to put up their hand. Opening on a vendor bid of $1,100,000, Mr O'Sullivan then accepted a crowd bid of $1,110,000. After giving the crowd more than a fair chance to play ball, but receiving no response, Mr O'Sullivan put in a second and final vendor bid of $1,140,000. An eleventh hour offer from a second bidder got the crowd excited but it wasn't enough to sell the property under the hammer. It was passed in at $1,155,000. Bought after for $1,160,000.
