The neighbourhood dogs with their owners in tow were lining up for this Beaumaris auction. Mark Earle's preamble was interrupted briefly by a somewhat disruptive member of the 50 strong crowd. Mr Earle masterfully manoeuvred around the interruption and moved on to commence proceedings with a vendor bid of $1,100,000. A slow start progressed in to a real competition between two bidders. The property was eventually bought for $1,204,000.
