Holding proceedings from the tennis court in front of a crowd of 100 people, James Tostevin accepted an opening bid of $3,500,000 and the game was on. Three bidders took the price steadily to $3,800,000 before Mr Tostevin referred to his vendor. Not on the market yet, the bidding continued until it reached $3,850,000. The property was thus passed in, but bought after for an undisclosed amount. Great atmosphere with three bidders over $3,800,000 - a strong result.
