31 Rowland Street, KEW
BOUGHT* - $1,245,000
Auctioneer Mark Dayman delivered his usual slick pre-auction preamble covering all the positive aspects of the home. It was a very intense auction and despite the small crowd of 20 there was no shortage of bidders, with two emerging from the onset. Mr Dayman opened with a vendor bid of $1,050,000 asking for $25,000 rises. This was met and as the increments slowed to $1,000 the property was declared on the market for $1,200,000. A knock out bid of $1,220,000 drew gasps of surprise from the crowd and when it seemed the property was sure to sell, a third contender appeared from the back. After a rally of $1,000 and $500 bids, the home was bought under the hammer for $1,245,000.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
