87 Murray Street, CAULFIELD

BOUGHT* - $1,300,000
Bill Stavrakis opened on a vendor bid of $1,100,000 after a great preamble that was unfortunately met with silence. A bidder from the crowd of around 50 people offered another $10,000 and was at first knocked back. But when no other bids were forthcoming, Mr Stavrakis reluctantly accepted the bid in the hope it would kick start the auction. And that it did. Two other parties joined the action, with proceedings finally stopping at $1,200,000 at which point the property was passed in. Bought after for $1,300,000.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
Not only do we report on the state of the Melbourne Real Estate market, we are also government licensed Buyer Advocates. We only work for buyers, so think of us as the opposite of selling agents.

James Buyers acted on my behalf as a Buyer’s Advocate to purchase a high-end property in October, 2011. Mal James was at all times professional and did a lot of research pre-auction on this property.
