The dreary weather was reflected in the lack lustre mood at this auction. In front of a crowd of 60, proceedings commenced with a $1,000,000 vendor bid from auctioneer Karl Fitch. This was followed by two more vendor bids and Mr Fitch worked hard to generate some interest from the crowd. Among the sea of golf umbrellas, two bidders emerged but their offers were not enough and the property was passed in at $1,105,000. Although there was some real interest, overall it was a quiet auction. Bought after for an undisclosed amount.
