23 Bevan Street, BALWYN
BOUGHT* RANGE - $3,337,320 - $3,671,400
Plenty of hype but little action. Over 120 people took over the usually serene Bevan St, Balwyn. One neighbour commented that in the 40 years that he'd lived there he hadn't seen so much activity. Cars jammed up on this no-through road and people stood up on fences to get a view as auctioneer Scott Patterson kicked things off. And all eyes were on Mr Patterson (if you could get him in view) as he did most of the work opening with a vendor bid of $3,000,000, soon followed by another at $3,100,000. One bidder put up his hand at $3,150,000 and the property passed in for negotiation. The tension was relieved by watching the cars trying to make their escape onto Cotham Road post auction. Bought after for an undisclosed amount.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
