41 Silverdale Road, EAGLEMONT

BOUGHT* - $1,167,000
Unfamiliar to this neck of the woods I found Eaglemont cute as a button! Clearly the crowd of 120 did too. Six bidders kept auctioneer Stewart Oldmeadow on his toes and created a riveting contest. Each time the hammer was about to fall a new bidder appeared and nudged the price up. Mr Oldmeadow proclaimed Eaglemont properties turned over only every 21 years on average! Well this auction certainly emphasised the demand level: bought for $1,167,000 after a solid half an hour auction, that included two vendor conferences.

BOUGHT* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
Not only do we report on the state of the Melbourne Real Estate market, we are also government licensed Buyer Advocates. We only work for buyers, so think of us as the opposite of selling agents.
