His words of praise did little to enthuse the crowd of 80 onlookers and, as a result, he placed a vendor bid of $1,100,000. It was only after the half time break that one eventual bid of a further $10,000 was made, which allowed the sole bidder the exclusive right to negotiate at the passing in of the property. Bought after for an undisclosed amount.
