As expected with only a handful of $1,000,000 plus auctions this weekend due to the Anzac Day holiday the market was fairly quiet. Of the six auctions we attended today Bidderman was just under 2 with 1 bought before, 1 passing in and 4 bought on the day.

A big day in Boroondara today – all the key agencies operating at capacity – and the clearance rates were strong to match the big auction numbers. Bidderman was well over three for the seven auctions we attended and all of these auctions sold and sold strongly.

Interesting day in Boroondara today, with a few properties flying out the door with 5 or more bidders and also a number passing in quietly without much crowd interest. Although the sun was not really out, the bidders certainly were, with most properties over $1m selling in Boroondara today. Bidderman was strong at many auctions and there was no shortage of them.

33 houses reported for sale today under $1.8m and only 2 passed in. Bidderman 1.6

Boroondara performed strongly this week, with around 20 $m+ properties selling at auction. Another two $m+ properties sold before auction. Those were 5 Carronshore Close Balwyn (Marshall White) and 26 Dower St Camberwell (Bennison MacKinnon).

Boroondara had the most auction activity today, both in number of auctions and number of bidders. Also plenty of choice over the next three weeks with 48 and 61 million-dollar-plus auctions planned for the last weeks in November.
