This weekend in Port Phillip we saw limited properties on offer, much of which wasn’t quite A grade. While there was reasonable bidding at two of the auctions I covered, there were no volcanoes and two properties were passed in.

We’re seeing something of a mini burst of activity in Port Phillip, with 12 auctions this weekend and sixteen next week – all over the $1 million mark. These are solid properties without being spectacular and are mostly in the range of $1m to $1.3m.

This weekend, the clearance rate for the eight properties up for auction in Port Phillip over one million dollars was 83% – solid.
Amongst the most interesting auctions this weekend was a basic knock-downable Victorian(STCA) at 48 Kerferd Road Albert Park, sold by John Holdsworth of Greg Hocking Real Estate for $1,205,000, or a respectable $5,355 [...]
