This time last year we had an 80% clearance rate also, but the telling difference was James Bidderman – it was hovering around 2 bidders per auction. Today it was almost one full bidder per auction more; or if you want a shock jock headline – today there were 50% more bidders than this time last year, just before things started to really take off in this latest surge.
