In many ways, this is a trophy home. If you love 60s and 70s architecture, this has been renovated within an inch of its life, with modern finishes while retaining that almost rustic, beach house feel.
The floorplan is another matter. Lots of little compartments, a relatively small main bedroom and three further bedrooms upstairs. I’m not convinced about its practicality for families with young children, although the yard does offer reasonable supervision.
But that doesn’t make it a bad house. Far from it.
This is a property that someone will absolutely love. If those buyers turn up, it could achieve a strong price. Others will walk through, appreciate it and say, “Gee, I’m glad I came.”
Practically, I’m not entirely convinced. Emotionally, there is something quite special here.
