One of the Golden Mile streets in Canterbury, and one of the more unusual homes you will come across here. Mud brick. That alone changes the feel completely.
As you walk in, there is a real sense of sanctuary. Warm, quiet, birds everywhere, almost like the house is part of the garden rather than sitting on it.
The layout is unusual. Bedrooms wrapping around living areas, kitchen tucked up the back. It should not really work, but somehow it does. The rear is a little enclosed with neighbouring fencing close by, though it did not bother me much. This is all about feel.
If you want something different, genuinely different, this is worth experiencing.
