A very good renovation of what was once a dark red brick 1970s family home. Lightened up, thoughtfully updated, and now working really well for a family with two children.
The landscaping is exceptional. Five years on from the renovation, the home feels considered rather than overdone. There is still flexibility here, although three children would start to put pressure on the upstairs living area, unless the outdoor studio takes on that role.
Parking is good, with room for two or three cars in the driveway plus the garage.
This is suburban living in Byron Morris, with Mentone the train option, but the beach and local shops only 600 metres away.
