This is one of those grand old homes that stands out from the crowd. An unusual offering with plenty of character, but certainly not everyone’s cup of tea.
These properties are difficult to price at any time, particularly in the current market. It would have been a different proposition in a stronger market.
Nicely renovated, although the flow of the house is a little awkward. It just doesn’t work as easily as you’d like.
But if you’ve got a big family and a sharp pencil, this could be worth considering. Does the area support the asking price? I’m not sure.
The cul-de-sac position is appealing, but this home will have a limited audience. There’ll be one buyer who walks in and is completely enchanted by what it offers.
The agent’s challenge is finding that buyer and getting the vendor to see some sense on price.
An interesting property. You don’t see too many like it. Whether you like it or not, that’s for you to decide.
