I came into this one cold, not knowing quite what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised.
This is a familiar style of home built throughout Camberwell and its surrounds, but a particularly nice execution of it.
The signature room is the substantial kitchen, meals and living area, overlooking a traditional garden setting. Great internal volume and a tranquil space to come home to.
Interesting flooring, a spiral staircase and a main bedroom at the rear with a lovely garden outlook. The home is elevated from the street, with further steps up to the backyard.
What I particularly like is the bedroom separation. Teenagers can disappear and do their own thing in the evening, then everyone comes back together in that wonderful central living space.
Yes, it has the bells and whistles you expect from this style of home, but the proportions, flow and overall feeling really work for me.
