This is a really appealing Georgian-style home that gets a lot of the fundamentals right.
The rear faces south, but the home still gets plenty of natural light. The front rooms capture the northern light, and the abundance of windows carries that brightness through the house.
It isn’t a modern open-plan floorplan, but I actually think the layout works well for a family. There are a few quirks, and there is certainly scope to improve things over time, but nothing that needs to be done immediately.
Off-street parking is another positive. The driveway can accommodate two cars, and there is also permit parking in the street. The garage looks a little tight for modern vehicles, so that is something I would test before making a decision.
The location ticks plenty of boxes too. You’re around the corner from Glenferrie Road shops and close to Cabrini Hospital, with all the convenience that brings.
Overall, this is a move-in-ready family home with good natural light, practical accommodation and a very convenient location. It feels like a property you can enjoy now and improve over time if you choose.
