All bedrooms are upstairs, so there is no separation with a main on the ground floor. That will suit some and not others.
Does it work? Yes. Does it need a bit of an update? Probably. Is it for everyone? No. But it fits, it functions, and there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it.
It just needs to suit you.
